For strategic HR leaders to proactively lead the rapidly changing world of work.

HRSF PROGRAMS

In 2025, HR Strategy Forum will convene four events centered around the theme of HR Leadership in a Multi-factor Turbulent World

Through five organizational lenses that are critical for strategic HR leaders, we’ll examine external and internal forces of turbulence we think will buffet organizations in the coming year. Our approach will be curricular: we’ll build on themes and help HR leaders think strategically and holistically about their roles in times of multiple colliding changes.

The forces we’ll examine, and the thrust of our topics, will be:

  1. Socio- and geopolitical: How do you manage a divided or polarized workforce in a divided or polarized population?

  2. Technological: How can you prepare people for the use and misuse of technological innovation, analytics, and metrics in decision making and initiating change?

  3. Forces within the Workforce: What’s needed to build resilience and agility in the face of change fatigue, generational shifts and the ongoing evolution of employee expectations about work?

Economic: How do you build healthy places to work in a turbulent economy?

The five organizational lenses through which we’ll examine these forces will be:

  1. Leadership and Management

  2. Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging

  3. Change Management

  4. Company Culture and Employee Wellbeing

  5. Strategic Workforce Planning

Through creative workshop formats, guest speakers, and peer conversations, we’ll add to HR leaders’ awareness and acumen so they can step away from the tactical, day-to-day fray and not only to lead HR teams but also to lead their executive peers through the turbulence of the times.

The last 5 years have brought tremendous change to the business world and the employee experience. First there was COVID, supply chain and associated business challenges, remote and hybrid work upheaval, and now the AI explosion, coupled with inflation, and layoffs and restructuring. Today’s multi-factor turbulent world requires a new kind of leadership—one that is both adaptive and values-driven.

This forum will explore how HR can lead with strategic foresight, agility, and empathy, and turn disruption – especially the AI disruption – into a catalyst for transformation while future-proofing your company – and your employees – to deliver shareholder value. We'll look at the role HR Leaders can play to help business leaders respond to these multi-factor changes and ensure both healthy, productive work environments and successful business results.

Our panel discussion and peer-to-peer conversations will investigate:

    • What role should HR play to help companies adopt of AI while balancing efficiency gains with emerging risks, and how will these choices shape structure and culture?
    • How should HR strategies evolve to address a workforce that co-exists with agentic and non-human workers, and what are the implications for collaboration, inclusion, and strategic advantage?
    • How can diversity be leveraged as a strategic asset to enhance organizational resilience during periods of disruption, and what are the risks of failing to do so in today’s polarized climate?
    • What can help build a resilient workforce that adapts more quickly to these changes?

Join us to discuss strategies to utilize a combined “workforce plus AI” strategy to enable organizational resilience and agility, business performance, and shareholder value.

In today's economic landscape, organizational success hinges not just on financial strategy, but on a resilient employee population that drives innovation and results. In this session our panelists will set the stage for a participant discussion that will emphasize practical, tangible practices to help you navigate economic uncertainty while maintaining a robust, engaged, and psychologically supported workforce.

Questions we hope to answer include:

    • What does a "healthy workplace" look like in 2025?

    • How do you turn business constraints into opportunities for organizational strength, employee well-being, and sustainable growth.

    • How do you maintain employee trust during uncertain times?

    • How can organizations be both financially prudent and employee-centric?

Our goal is to give you a strategic roadmap to help you not only survive economic volatility, but emerge stronger, more adaptive, and fundamentally human-centric.
