Angie Walker

Head of HR at Brightree

Angie Walker serves as the head of HR for Brightree. In this capacity, she partners with the Brightree leadership to provide consultative HR support and counsel on all people matters, focusing on talent management, performance management, and change management. Angie also oversees all Brightree systems and processes related to HR. Prior to this role, she held senior HR leadership positions at Sage, Fiserv, and Citrix Systems. She holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and is certified in the Prosci Change Management Method.

Carolyn Frey

Chief People Officer at Curology: Making Effective Skincare Accessible

Carolyn Frey serves as Curology's first ever Chief People Officer, leading HR, Learning, OD, Total Rewards, Comms and DEIB. Curology is the leader in the D2C prescription skincare space. Prior to Curology she was at Philz Coffee as Chief People Officer leading recruiting, learning, HR for fast growing San Francisco-based coffee chain. In addition to those responsibilities, Carolyn also led strategic partnerships, wholesale and marketing, as well as serves as the key advisor to the CEO and founder.

Prior to Philz, Carolyn was a Managing Director at Corporate Executive Board (CEB) for 15 years. Over her career there, she led account management teams, managed the firm’s largest client accounts and re-located to SF to open & lead the first office outside of DC. She was the General Manager of the West Coast market and the SF office for the last seven years. CEB is a leading provider of research based guidance and human capital analytics to Fortune 500 companies and beyond. Carolyn received many awards during her time at CEB, most notably a company wide award for Stewardship of Exceptional Talent (out of 4,500 employees), top coach award and a company wide award for Innovation.

Ignacio “Nacho” Giraldo

Partner at TPG Growth/Rise/Rise Climate

Ignacio “Nacho” is a Partner with TPG Growth and TPG Rise in San Francisco. As a member of the Business Building team, he focuses his time on consumer goods, retail, the circular economy and ed-tech. Prior to joining TPG, Ignacio worked in management consulting, finance, startups and the corporate world, including Monitor Company, Goldman Sachs, MercadoLibre, Diageo, SABMiller, and Nike. Ignacio holds Bachelor's degrees in Industrial Engineering and Mathematics from Universidad de los Andes in Bogota, Colombia, and an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Matt Mellott

President and CEO, Brightree

Matt Mellott is an accomplished senior operational and financial professional with over thirty years of progressive experience in the healthcare industry, Matt has served as the chief executive officer of Brightree since 2016. Brightree provides software and services solutions to home medical equipment and home infusion providers.  Under Matt’s leadership, Brightree has significantly grown both organically and through acquisitions, earning a market leadership position. Prior to Brightree, Matt served as president of MedBridge Healthcare, a national sleep disorder diagnostic testing and respiratory therapy provider. Matt has held senior financial leadership roles with a variety of large providers in the post-acute healthcare space. He also has served on the board of the National Sleep Foundation.

Shreya Sarkar-Barney

CEO and Founder, Human Capital Growth

Shreya Sarkar-Barney, Ph.D., is the CEO and founder of Human Capital Growth (HCG), an evidence-based talent management firm that specializes in advancing leadership excellence and talent management excellence.  For over 20 years, Shreya has coached leaders in Fortune 100 companies and not-for-profit organizations across four continents, contributing to outcomes such as revitalizing business models and accelerating growth. Shreya's focus on using science-backed practices in driving better outcomes won her the 2019 Scientist-Practitioner presidential recognition by the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP).  She serves on the boards of the HR Strategy Forum and the City of Vacaville, Economic Development Advisory Committee.  She is on the editorial board of the SIOP Professional Practice Series and serves as an affiliate research scientist at the Center for Effective Organizations, University of Southern California.
