Kimberly (Kim) J. Scow is currently Project Consultant – Change
Management, Consulting Services Group, Chevron Project Resources Company
(PRC). Within Chevron, PRC serves as the central source of expertise for
the development and execution major capital projects and strategically
important non-capital projects. Kim provides in depth expertise around
enterprise, organization, and individual change management, to accelerate
project development and execution, and for building organizational
capability in change management within Chevron.
Kim’s role from November 2005 until December 2007 was Global Manager – HR
Strategy, Planning, and Communications, Chevron Corporation Human
Resources. Focus areas included:

The
team focused on advancing Chevron’s “invest in people” strategy, through
clear direction, feedback, accountability, recognition, creativity, and
innovation.
Kim
joined Chevron in 1991. Since then, she has held a variety of human
resources positions in Chevron’s operating company, corporate, and plant
locations, including HR Manager – Chevron Oronite Company; Manager – Human
Resources, Chevron Information Technology Company; Project Manager – Chevron
Merger Integration Team, Chevron Overseas Petroleum; and Manager-Executive
Resources, Chevron Corporation. Kim completed an M.A. in Industrial
Relations from University of Minnesota, a B.A. in Organizational Psychology
from San Jose State University, and continuing studies at INSEAD in
Fontainebleau, France. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources
Management (SHRM), and the HR Planning Society (HRPS).
Outside of work, Kim plays a leadership role in the Walnut Creek, California
chapter of Integral Transformative Practices International, (ITPI), a
not-for profit organization that fosters positive individual and community
transformation.
