The HR Strategy Forum (HRSF) is the California Affiliate of HR People and Strategy. HRSF provides direct access to HR and business thought leaders, networking and development opportunities, and extensive resources for people and talent strategy professionals. HRSF enables members to have a more strategic impact on how their organizations prepare for the future and implement workforce initiatives to achieve business results. HRSF is the only California-based organization that focuses exclusively on talent, people and organizational strategy.
The HR Strategy Forum’s mission is to enhance the capabilities of participants to have more strategic impact on the performance of their organizations.

For Organizations, we provide opportunities and resources to develop strategic HR leaders, present and future, into productive professionals who significantly contribute to the planning and execution of programs that improve organizational performance.

General HRSF membership is open to HR and Business Leaders, Consultants and Academics who are concerned with talent, people and organizational strategy.
Profile of Members
HRSF members are from organizations of all sizes and types – growing entrepreneurial businesses, mid cap firms, large multinationals, consulting firms, universities and business schools. They hold key management and strategy-setting positions. The typical member has direct or indirect responsibility for strategic people management issues.
Our leaders are nominated and elected by the full Board (Officers and Directors at Large). If you are interested in gaining board experience, contributing to the strategic HR community, volunteering in any capacity and having fun, please let us know. Most leaders start by joining one of our committees, then progressing to Director at Large and then, sometimes being elected an officer. HRSF conducts each of its programs in Northern and Southern California locations:
This puts our meetings much closer to where you live and work to minimize travel time and maximize program impact. Meetings are held five to eight times per year on cutting edge topics impacting our businesses.
When you sign up as a member we require you to provide some contact and demographic information. HRSF protects member privacy by allowing you to choose what information you want to include in the member directory as one of the last steps in the online enrollment process. In addition, HRSF’s policy is to not make any member list information available to anyone except the Human Resource Planning Society.
All members are strictly prohibited from soliciting business or selling any services, programs or products during programs or meetings. The Board of Directors may approve an exception to this if deemed necessary to fulfill the purposes of the HRSF. Members who feel this policy has been violated should report the incident to the HRSF President.
